Having a client that sells ice cream... well, it just doesn’t get any more fun than this! Peppermint Stick... Birthday
Batter, Cappuccino Crunch, Peanut Butter Cup... The list of flavors goes on and on! And we’re not just talking
any old plain ice cream either... This is the good stuff... It’s Hersey’s Ice Cream! Yummy!
Let me introduce you to Don & Christine Perry of The Inside Scoop. These two have it going on... Not only do
they own this shop, but Don’s a local Firefighter and Christine is a registered nurse! You’ll find Christine’s
sister, Ann, helping carry the load so they have some time off now and then. These are the two busiest people
you’ll ever meet, but still, they find the time to get to know their customers.
The Inside Scoop opened July 2009 and was created out of a love for kids and the kids inside us old folks!
They’ve created a relaxed, fun atmosphere no matter what your age. Whether you’re sitting at one of the
tables nibbling on goodies or are leaned back on the sofa watching TV... you’re going to love this place!
Starting this month they’re beginning to offer HOME-MADE SOUPS! At the time of this writing, they were
working on developing a line that will warm you up and make you want to come back for more. I was given a
cup of their Clam Chowder and I’ve got to tell you it was fantastic! It’s chock full of clams and potatoes and
perfect for the cold days we’ve got ahead of us.
Need a creative cake for something special? Then you’ll be glad to know they can help you by providing
Hershey’s Ice Cream Cakes! Ice Cream cakes are always a hit at any celebration!
They even have flavors low in fat and no sugar added. Of course, I have to mention the fact they make all
kinds of goodies... Sundaes, Waffle Cones, Banana Splits, Ice Cream drinks, dipped cones, plain cones,
sprinkled cones and more! Mouth watering yet? Mine sure is! My favorite? The new Peppermint Stick! Smooth
with a peppermint crunch! The perfect flavor to fill a Winter sweet tooth!

In November, women had the chance to register to win a free holiday make-over
from our friends at Victor Russell Studio. On December 1st, the winner was
picked and here she is! Congratulations to Lauren Meulener of St. Cloud!

I wish you could have felt the excitement of this woman as the magical touch of the Victor
Russell professionals transformed her! Lauren stated, “I’m just so excited and love everything
they did for me. I love the new look, the feel of my skin, the new bounce in my hair and my
make-up is just incredible!”
Marissa took charge of preparing the skin with an invigorating facial, making sure her face was
clean & fresh . Yvonne spruced up Lauren’s nails with the look of a natural French Manicure
and Cheryl stepped in to highlight Lauren’s hair using Wella & Redken products. Rick was up
next for the trim & style. She went from curly to straight with a simple technique using a blow
dryer, giving a fresh bounce and flow to her over-all appearance. Lastly, Rick showed Lauren
how to use make-up with Victor Russell Cosmetics to highlight her natural facial features. Let’s
face it... Lauren was a cutie coming in, but she was a beauty going out! Doesn’t she just look
great?
