In my traveling around, visiting
with local business owners, I'm
seeing a discouraged look in
most of their eyes. This economy
is really shaking business to the
core.
That's the very reason why I'm
here doing what I'm doing. We
must not give up! Free enterprize
in it's truest sense is built on the
independent business owner like
you and me. Think about it...
without small business, everything
changes.
So what can you and I do to
change the direction of our local
economy? We've got to get
creative! We've got to come up
with new, fresh ideas and
incentives to attract new
customers and bring back the old.

out of reach for the typical
business owner. Advertising
should, in reality, pay for itself
and with the ridiculous costs
involved, your product has to
have a just as ridiculous profit
point. I know in my own business
experiences, advertising costs
were prohibitive to profit
potential.
It's one of the reasons I started
The Osceola Buzz. To be able to
offer low cost advertising to help
our local businesses! To give
them some encouragement to
keep the faith, and to get things
moving again!
Let's face it... life may never be

flicker of the light that's at the end
of the tunnel, and it's not due to
anything that our 'administration'
is doing, but of what our
community is doing. I believe we
are grasping the concept of
keeping our dollars right here in
our own county in small
businesses that are owned by
those like you and me. It's a
beginning and if we continue on,
we're going to come out of this
slump... Stay local, Buy local,
Support local families!
